AirXY: from immaterial to rematerial was commissioned for the Venice Architecture Biennale 2008. It is a screenscape/clock that combines real time animation, sensors, haze, light, strobes & sound, with screen and floor projections that engage visitors passing through the massive Corderie dell'Arsenale. The main projection runs as a clock that marks time on an XY axis. Each minute scans an ever changing "screenscape". Visitors are filmed from above and appear on the screen, interacting with twelve symbolic icons that drift on the screen. (w/ Chris Salter, sound/light artist)
